Lets face it- You are dead in the water if you are trying to do any woodturning with dull tools. Not only does the surface of the work come out better with sharp tools, but you have way more control and you can use a much lighter touch. In this hands-on class our lead turning instructor, Rich Angus will guide you through the methods and techniques you need to effortlessly obtain a razor sharp edge on all your turning tools.  Rick will concentrate on each tool- skews, spindle gouge, Bowl gouge, parting tools, scrapers and roughing gouges. A bench grinder is key to successful turning tool sharpening, and we will go into the attributes of the main grinders on the market along with the many different abrasive wheels available. If you own a bench grinder you should bring it along. You owe it to yourself to get this roadblock out of your way once and for all!
